Topic starter 1st time poster, so apologies if this is not allowed. I did do a search but nothing popped up. I will try to give as much history as possible.
I took my first dive into orals at the start of the year, with an 8 week cycle of Anavar with the last 2 weeks on a 100mg dose. Felt great, noticeable increase in strength and not really any negative side affects.
Following this i did a 4 week PCT of Nolvadex and again, felt absolutely fine, a slight decrease in strength but only very slight.
I have just started a second cycle, 2 days in of using intext WINVAR, starting with 50mg of each and after only 2 days I've started experiencing the following.
- Increased resting and active heartrate (nothing crazy and still within a healthy range, but just something I noticed)
- Increased body temperature
- Started getting muscle cramps in my arms after working out today, something i never experienced on only Anavar.
To clarify, I absolutely expect side effects from taking any kind of compound, its just that they've come along after only 1 or 2 days. I'm just after some reassurance really as this is new to me.
Should i decrease my dose to 25mg of each to be safe or ride it out?
Thanks.

Could you please give me some advice for the injections? I have a 23g needle, but I don't know if it reaches the muscle or anything like that. I usually insert almost all of it, but sometimes I get a strange injection and it hurts. And tnk very much

Topic starter I use 23g for drawing and 25g 1 inch needle for injecting. I inject into the thigh, rotating each time. PIP is mild, if anything its not even pain, just slightly tender to the touch.

Do you think that because I use 23g it doesn't reach the muscle and that's why I'm not getting any results? I'm not very skilled with injections and sometimes when I insert the needle I touch something or I get cramps like if I were to prick something. Injections make me very nervous.

23G 1-inch is fine for quads or delts.
For glutes, use 1.5-inch to reach the muscle.
Inject almost all the way in, go slow, and rotate spots.
Warm the oil to reduce pain.

Enjoying the winvar. Tabs are 25/25mg winny/anavar. Cutting them in half not easy but enable me to take daily amount in 2 doses (half life 8-9hrs I believe). I was 7% body fat before starting cycle but certainly notice modest but significant strength increase. Dry gains is what I wanted and winvar delivering so far. I eat super clean always and every day. I'm 60 and started training at age 13. Bought my first Muscle & Fitness mag in 1978!
Is taking 2 full pills a day too much never used it before used plenty of other gear... I tend to take a full one on a morning week half in I want to be fully shredded

That’s awesome to hear — sounds like WinVar is working exactly as intended! 💪 Splitting the dose makes sense for stable levels, and with your clean diet and training history, you’re clearly dialed in. Keep it up — inspiring stuff at 60!

Hey man, no need to panic — you're just over a month in, and Test E takes 4–6 weeks to really kick in. The strength and energy boost you're feeling is a good sign it’s working.
If you’re not seeing size changes yet, it’s probably diet. At 100kg, 2,600–3,000 calories might be too low to grow. You need to eat more, especially protein.
Also, don’t rush to bump the dose yet — let your levels stabilize first, maybe give it another 2–3 weeks. And yeah, thigh injections are fine — just make sure your technique is solid.
Stay consistent with food and training, and results will come.
