Is it ok to train heavy on cycle?

When on cycle is it better train more heavy than normal or keep same weight and just focus on volume?

I feel strength go up fast so not sure what best way. What you guys do?

  • Focus on both: Heavy weights for strength, and high volume for growth.

  • The Trap: Your muscles get stronger much faster than your tendons. If you jump weight too quickly, you'll tear something.

  • The Sweet Spot: Use the 8–12 rep range with heavier weights than you could handle naturally. This builds maximum muscle while protecting your joints.

  • The Verdict: Don't just chase 1-rep maxes. Add extra sets and extra reps with those new heavy weights.
