Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) is used by bodybuilders to maintain natural testosterone production while on or after a steroid cycle.
It helps prevent testicular atrophy, supports muscle retention, and balances hormones during PCT (Post Cycle Therapy).
Typical doses range from 250-500 IU twice a week on cycle or 1,000-2,000 IU per week during PCT. Always combine with an AI (Aromatase Inhibitor) if needed to manage estrogen levels.

Hi, I’m currently on TRT, daily dosing Testex 0.15ml and 0.8 HCG Zivafert 5000 daily dose.
I’d like to double the dose of the Testex but I’m worried about my estrogen levels.
First of all, what dose of Zivafert would I take on 0.3 of Testex? And do I need to be taking anything else?

If you increase Testex to 0.3ml daily:
Zivafert (HCG): Stick to 250–500 IU 2–3x/week (no need for daily unless fertility-focused).
Estrogen control: You may need an AI like Arimidex 0.25mg 1–2x/week, but only if estradiol rises—bloodwork is key.

250–500 IU HCG (if mixed with 1 ml bac water) = 0.05–0.1 ml per dose
At 2–3x/week = 0.1–0.3 ml total per week.

I run HCG both on cycle to maintain testicular function and off cycle to kickstart the pituitary -gonadal axis and get the natural testosterone levels back much quicker and it is working well for me

Solid breakdown. I’ve seen a lot of people overlook HCG during cycles or PCT, but it really does make a difference in keeping things functioning properly.
