Hi all,

I have been injecting testosterone weekly as I had low testosterone.

I work out 4 days a week and am wanting to gain some muscle mass.

Whats best to take? Any guidance ?

Im 41, 6ft and about 12 stone.

I have a really fast metabolism.

Any help greatly appreciated 👏

To build muscle with a fast metabolism while on TRT, eat in a 300–500 calorie surplus prioritizing 130–150g of protein daily, progressive overload weight training, and 2–5g of creatine monohydrate.

you can Add an oral Oxandrolone (Anavar) or a Nandrolone (Deca-Durabolin) can accelerate muscle growth, though optimizing diet, sleep, and progressive overload alongside standard TRT yields the safest long-term gains.

Hey,

Like Michael said, those are great options before jumping on gear. I too had a very fast metabolism and it took years of hard work, patience and eventually I started to see gains.

Definitely check bloods before jumping on a cycle and do plenty of research.

As mentioned deca is a great builder but with any cycle weigh up the sides.

I hear you though. 💪

How much testosterone are you doing a week?

Thank you for replying.

I take 60-80mg per week, not sure if that too little or too much.

It has improved my symptoms but I would like to get the most of it and work out/ eat sleep well and get some gains.

What is it you do?

Thanks again

JB

Since your symptoms are improving, focus on progressive strength training 3–5 days a week, consuming adequate daily protein (~0.7–1 gram per pound of target body weight), and maintaining 7–9 hours of quality sleep to fuel recovery.

Thanks, I take 60-80mg per week.

Do you think thats sufficient?

Where do you get your bloods done? Just the NHS or another facility.

Thank you again

JB

A dose of 60–80 mg/week is generally a standard replacement range for Testosterone TRT but ineffective for athletic goals (and highly risky if Trenbolone), and blood tests in the UK can be arranged either through NHS GPs or private labs like Medichecks and Randox Health.
